Retreats at Wasing

Wasing Estate is a stunning backdrop for your retreat. With indoor and outdoor spaces for yoga and meditation, lakes and woodlands for a gorgeous countryside walk and luxurious accommodation with a rustic charm, we’ve got what you and your clients need for a little bit of time-out.

What does a retreat at Wasing look like?

On arrival, we can provide guests with a healthy breakfast to kick-start the day; luxury cranberry and apricot granola, spinach and orange smoothie or just some simple yoghurt and fruit.

Follow breakfast with some yoga to stretch those muscles and get the blood flowing. The Garden Room, with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds and the unique Castle Barn, is the perfect tranquil space.

Next up, we’ll provide whiteboards, pens and everything you need for an interactive talk on health and nutrition. Or if you’re hosting a company meeting, with the team feeling ready and relaxed, now is a great time to get started.

By now everyone is getting hungry. Luckily our chef has prepared a light healthy lunch from our selection of menu’s, just in time to refuel before a beautiful countryside walk around the estate. Discover Wasing’s lakes and serene woodlands, taking in the refreshing countryside air.

It’s now late in the afternoon and everyone is probably ready for some downtime, perhaps some meditation, or a session a transformational breath before regrouping for dinner.

Dinner is an exciting affair. Beyond our retreat menu, Wasing also have mindful eating and fire pit options. Butterflied leg of Lamb, seared teriyaki tuna steaks, Thai style fish cooked in a banana leaf and a variety of sides and salads, our catering options can be tailored to fit your event. Creative, delicious vegetarian and vegan options are available to cover all diets and requirements.

By the time dinner has been consumed and the sun has gone down, it’s time for guests to retreat back to their cosy bedrooms. Here at Wasing we have 26 boutique bedrooms, including a converted original Granary and Dovecote, that are charming, one of a kind and the perfect comfortable space for a good nights rest.

Wake up and begin day 2 feeling positive, continue your retreat with some early morning outside yoga in Wasing’s beautiful Secret Walled Garden (weather permitting!) as the birds start their song.

The grounds here at Wasing are filled with opportunity to forage and pick your own herbs and wild mushrooms. Our chef could use your treasure to cook up a mouth-watering al-fresco post-yoga brunch.

After kicking off the day in the right way, feeling refreshed, re-balanced and ready to take on the rest of the day, will you really want to leave?

Here at Wasing we have recently recruited our own in-house yoga teacher, Jill Watson. Jill teaches timetabled classes here at Wasing that you could schedule into your time here. Alternatively, Jill can take private classes or work alongside you to help put together your perfect retreat. Check out our Yoga page here.
